Kathryne M. Ray, 67, a Cape Coral resident since 2001, formerly of Gurnee, IL, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015. She was born on August 2, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Margaret and Edwin Cook, now deceased. Kathryne was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral. She was always the "go to" person when in need. Kathy was "so much" to so many people. Many lives will be forever changed. She is survived by two loving children, Kimberly Hudson (James) of Kenosha, WI and Eric Ray of Midland, MI; siblings, Edwin Cook, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL, George Cook of Chicago, IL and Diane Pawelko (Richard) of Inverness, FL; five grandchildren, Courtney, Zachary, Chelsea, Monica and Caitlin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Kathryne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward C. Davidson, as well as three siblings, Dorothy Cook, Margy Karczewski and Jack Cook. A Visitation will be held 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee, IL 60031, with burial to follow.
