Lynne D. Gow of Hawthorn Woods Lynne D. Gow (nee Dwight), 58, beloved wife of Kevin P. Gow Sr., passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2012, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Newburgh, N.Y., on Nov. 5, 1953, Lynne attended Chelmsford High School in Chelmsford, Mass. Lynne went on to graduate from St. Anselm College (Manchester, N.H.) in 1976 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. Lynne held a variety of healthcare related positions throughout her life, most recently as a nurse consultant in MetLife's Mount Prospect, Ill., Long Term Disability Center, where she was recognized with numerous awards for outstanding customer service and client care. Lynne was the proud and dedicated mother of three children, Kevin Jr., David and Ellen Gow, all of Hawthorn Woods. Lynne was also the beloved daughter of John "Jack"and Mary Ann Dwight of Estero, Fla.; and the devoted sister of John "Jack" Dwight Jr. of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Jeffrey Dwight of Southbury, Conn. Lynne's mother-in-law, Gwen Gow, resides in Worcester, Mass. In addition to two sisters-in-law, Chris and Carla Dwight, Lynne leaves behind numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Memorial visitation hours will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on April 21, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060, 847-223-0010, immediately followed by a memorial Mass and reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynne's name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 N. Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010 or The Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714, 866-789-1000.
