1925 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Mildred "Millie" Long, 88, passed away October 30, 2013 in her home in Des Plaines, Illinois. She was born on April 25, 1925, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Anna (nee Kaspar) Dusatko. On March 25, 1944, she married her childhood sweetheart Francis John Long. Millie is survived by her children David (Jean) Long and Nancy (Rob) Hutchins; grandsons, Jonathan Long, Christopher (Deb) Hutchins, Timothy Hutchins and soon to arrive great-grandson Carter Hutchins. She is also survived by her brother George (Joan) Dusatko; nieces Joanne Dusatko and Jill Dusatko (Erik Leach) and nephew John (Rochelle) Dusatko. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband "J.L.". Millie's passions were her three grandsons, going out to dinner, sitting in her garage reading novels and talking with anyone who passed by, Jeff Dunham and his characters, crocheting, Henry Mancini and Betty Boop J. A big thank you to Myrna Lauren, all family, friends and neighbors for helping take care of her since the passing of the love of her life, her husband "J.L.".
