It has been a year since Pat left us to go be in Heaven. I "inherited" some of Pat's patients, and we continue to keep her memory alive in our discussions, thoughts, and prayers. Her "people" have all done well...I know Pat watches over them and is smiling at some of our incredible successes. To her family: I send you love & prayers today and always...Blessings, Maureen McLaughlin, Dipl. Ac., NCCAOM

Oh, the comfort. . . the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person. Having neither to weigh thought nor measure words, but pouring them all right out just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away.
This is how it felt with Pat, her kind and gentle spirit, her laughter, I always felt safe. It is an honor and a blessing to call her my friend. My thoughts and prayers continue for Ned and family.

I met Pat a couple of months ago, while looking for an Acupuncturist. After our first session I felt so excited and blessed to be led to such a wonderful, talented and caring person. She made quite a difference in my life in a very short time. I can only imagine how warmly she touched the hearts of those who have known her much longer. I am grateful to have connected with her.

Sending love, light and peace to her friends and family,

I was shocked to hear the news of Patricia's passing, especially since I recently had seen her. She helped me through a difficult pregnancy, and she was there for me the whole nine months. With her help I was able to deliver with no complications. Beyond that, Patricia was a true healer. My deepest condolences to her family.

Ned, Angela, and Elizabeth -

Words cannot express how truly saddened I am by Pat's passing. In addition to knowing her first and foremost as Elizabeth and Angela's mother, I was also lucky enough to do an acupuncture session with her, complete with a simple but amazing bit of massage therapy thrown in free of charge. She loved my tattoo; I loved how she set me at ease and took care of me. She was a generous and kind-hearted woman, free spirited and joyful. I will always remember her laughing and enjoying life, as few people take the time to do. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

Patricia was an acupuncture colleague of mine. She did great work. She had a unique combination of sharp intelligence and huge compassion. I did not know Pat well outside of professionally, but I do know that her family, her husband and daughters, and her patients were her world.
She mentioned all of you frequently when I would run into her at Continuing Ed, etc. This is a huge loss to her family, friends, and patients. I feel Patricia's spirituality around us all still. God Bless You, Maureen McLaughlin, Dipl. Ac., NCCAOM

The last time I saw Elizabeth's mom, we were eating cake and toasting the graduations of her daughters at a party this summer - an image that I think sums up Pat, who was always up for some snacks, drinks and fun, especially when it involved the two girls she raised to be the remarkable young women they are today. Her love of life, quest for fun and laughter and values of peace and justice in the world are certainly things that live on in her family. She was truly a unique individual who will be very missed.

Pat was my miracle worker and my heart is broken at the loss of such an amazing woman. Without Pat's skill and help, my pregnancy would never have made it to full term and my miracle son would not be a part of my life today. Pat's smile, laughter, love & friendship will be missed deeply. I have attached a photo of Pat meeting my son for the first time...Oh what joy we shared that day!
My heartfelt sympathies to her family and all who loved her.

OMG - I can't believe this has happened to someone who spent her life helping others, including me. I feel so adrift that I can't imagine what all of you are going through and the suddenness of this is mind boggling. Pat and I talked about life after death many times, which we both believed in. I am positive she is watching out for all of you and smiling that special smile of hers. Nothing I can say will make you feel better right now. Just know that she was one special lady who will be tremendously missed.
