PAUL M. EVERDING

Paul M. Everding Paul M. Everding, of Prospect Heights, Lincolnshire and Vernon Hills, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 7, 2011. He leaves behind his loving wife, Peggy (nee Rogers) Everding; his children, Mark (Carmen) Everding, Joyce (Mike) Moffitt and Bruce (Julie) Everding; and his grandchildren, Andy (Becca) Everding, Erica and Jessica Moffitt, Ryan, Tom, Alyssa and Dave Everding. He was a devoted husband and proud father and grandfather. He was born Feb. 2, 1936, into the farming community of Elk Grove Village to George and Mabel (nee Goede) Everding. An entrepreneur at heart, he was a concrete man, builder and land developer and even an owner/operator of Adventureland and Santa's Village in the early 1970s. He enjoyed many of life's material blessings but he never held them tight and will be remembered for his generosity and humble spirit. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Interment will follow the funeral service in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
