Dear Liz, Eddie and John, We are so so sorry to hear about Peter's passing, my fellow Brit! I pray the Lord will keep His loving arms around you all at this sad and difficult time. Peter was the definition of a true English gentleman and our loss is Heavens gain. I am sure he is coaching them all up there on "proper football" ( soccer). Call me if you need anything. Love and prayers.... The Thompsons

Dear Liz and family:

We were very saddened to hear of Peter's passing. We were just thinking about all of you as we begin to make plans to move back to Chicago, and were looking forward to getting together. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. And I will leave you with this Eskimo Legend:

"Perhaps they are not stars in the skies, but rather our loved ones shining down upon us."

Dear Liz, Eddie and John,
We are sad to hear of Peter's passing and consider ourselves blessed to have known him. A man of moral character and clever wit! We hold many happy memories on the soccer field for HA and when Marmion shared the field at ACC. Peter often took the time to talk to William and genuinely expressed a sincere interest in the well-being of his former players. We will pray for your healing and Peter's eternal rest. God Bless...

A GIFT FROM HEAVEN

I am with you always
I live in your heart
I speak to your soul
We are not far apart

When you feel a light breeze
Hear the songs the birds sing
Know that I see every smile
Your kindness can bring

I see you building your dreams
With wisdom and grace
and asking His guidance
With each challenge you face

I am more than a memory
You will feel our love grow
I am forever your angel
Some things you just know

Please tell me your thoughts
your hopes and your fears
And know that through faith
He will heal all your tears

For today, I can share
That in Heaven above
God has taken my hand
I am complete, I am love

My heart goes out to the Eastwood family. Mr. Eastwood was one of my favorite coaches at my time at Holy Angels. He was always in bright manner and loved being around all of us. Even years later, seeing him on the sidelines as we (Marmion Academy) played ACC in our yearly soccer game, he would still remember me by name and talk with me after the game. My heart dropped when I heard of his passing. The whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart absolutely broke when I heard the news. My son was inspired to be a better soccer player and I a better coach due to your husband's great gifts as a player and mentor. I will miss him greatly. You and the boys will always remain in my prayers

Dear Liz, Eddie and John,
We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Peter. Peter has played such a positive impact in our lives. He is without a doubt the best coach Dave has ever had on the soccer field. His knowledge of the game, excellent coaching skills, patience and ability to work with the boys was amazing. He was a such an a remarkable man. We all feel fortunate to have known him.
