Quirino G. Sepeda of Elgin Quirino G. Sepeda, 79, passed away on April 6, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Beeville, Texas, the son of Antonio and Erlinda Sepeda. Quirino served his county proudly in the U.S. Army. Mr. Sepeda enjoyed spending time playing Bingo at the American Legion and the VFW and being a craftsmen, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria F. Sepeda; his children, Antonio Sepeda, Luis Sepeda, Gino Sepeda, Jesus Sepeda, Herlinda Sepeda Moreno, Marta Sepeda Flores, Maria Sepeda Sanchez, Rosa Sepeda Ramirez, Florinda Sepeda Gonzalez; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 10 a.m. at Wait Ross Allanson Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin. Interment with military honors will be held in Mount Hope Cemetery.
