I had the pleasure of being Reagan's fifth grade teacher. I will never forget your goofy antics which always made me and the rest of the class smile and laugh. Heaven truly has gained a beautiful, sweet and worthy angel. Reagan-Mrs. Arrington will never forget you and ability to brighten any room you entered. Rest In Peace sweet boy. When I heard the news, all I could think about is how much you did for me and my family last year, specifically my mom and I. While my heart aches greatly for you and your family, I have faith that you will not lose the uplifting spirit that you also shared with this beautiful boy. I've heard amazing things about Reagan, the way he lit up a room with his smile and how many people love him unconditionally. we will forever miss Reagan but know that he is smiling down on us every day. may he always be remembered as the happy, loving boy he was.

I didn't know Reagan, in fact I live across the state. But I found out about what happened through family friends' face books. God had a plan. We might not understand it. But he has a plan for Reagan. Reagan is right there by his side! Although I've never met him. I can tell through the photos and stories people have told how fun and bubbly he was. His smile lights up each and every photo. I would have love to have met him. But not long from now I will get my chance too! And I'm looking forward to being able to meet him on the other side. Where there is peace and serenity. His baptism photo actually made me cry. Such a sweet young man??

I received an email from a friend yesterday informing me that a 9th grade boy we may have known had sadly passed away this past weekend. Under the mistaken impression that the young man was in my husband's youth group at Stonecreek, I passed the information along to him. Thinking it over, Robert A Harry was certain he had never had the privilege of mentoring him. That evening we talked more about it and prayed for his family, friends and all those effected by the unfortunate turn of events in this young man's life. Waking up this morning, I still couldn't get his name out of my head. And now I know why. After searching the expressions upon the photographs posted and reading memorable posts from others, I didn't realize that I had been so distracted by the idea that he was one of Robert's students, I completely overlooked that I may have known him personally. Not 'till this very moment as I write these words did I realize that I was his Kidzu leader for many years. Like a flood, the Lord permitted me to revisit images of his active personality, his typical boyish wily laughter, and his charming smile. I remember meeting him for the first time and wondering how I was going to harness this lively new edition. We sat at a table in Kidzu where usually there weren't enough chairs for all. Rather than sit down, we Lisa Moore & I) walked around the table talking with the boys touching their shoulders to subtly remind them to remain focused – a few of those shirts were getting a bit threadbare if you catch my drift. I remember when we didn't have enough regular stools; so this particular gent had no objection sitting in a short squatty one as he didn't need a tall chair to stand equal to his peers … his sparkling personality did all the elevating he needed. I recall his energetic character and enjoyed witnessing him mature through the years. He was such a friendly, vibrant person, full of confidence and packed with a willing heart to do anything for anyone. It was a pleasure to have been a part of his life. Following the transition from Kidzu into middle school, I unfortunately lost connection with a few of those boys to whom I had so enjoyed ministering, but the indelible impression Reagan Austin Beene has left upon my heart will now not be forgotten.

It was an honor and a privilege to coach Reagan. I met him two years ago when I first moved to the area and began coaching for Cambridge feeder lacrosse. I always enjoyed seeing him.
