Obituary Condolences

Richard Pytel Richard Pytel, a beloved husband and father, was born in Chicago, Ill. on Oct. 3, 1931, to Barbara and Peter Pytel, and graduated from Harrison Tech High School in 1949. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology and worked as a mechanical engineer at Sears, Roebuck & Co. planning and building stores nationwide. He was married to the late June A. (nee Rockich) on April 19, 1958, and lived at his home in Mount Prospect since 1965. He is survived by two sons, Thomas (Miwako) and Richard (Beca); and one grandson, Kirk. Richard was active in his charitable giving, and loved model trains and planes. He was a friend to all with a memorable smile. He will be missed by those who knew him. Visitation will be Friday, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, at 11 a.m. at the office of Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Road at Roosevelt Road (Route 38), Hillside, Ill.
