My sympathies to the family. Roman was a great person, who always had a kind word. He would spend time talking to me about anything and everything. We had great conversations in the sauna he built. Humanity lost a great person.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time, but I know that Roman has found his place with God, and will continue to bring his wonderful spirit to everyone he has ever touched. Roman was a wonderful friend to my parents, David and Charlotte Hoppe. They are with him right now and most likely sharing the memories of their lives. Roman would come and visit my parents and they would always share loving and sometimes the trying times in their lives. My Dad was a former Fire Fighter in Niles, and Roman shared those time with my Dad, as to my Mom and Roman, they had a great friendship bond and shared the positive and spiriual relationships in lives.

Roman will always have a place in my heart for the joy and friendship he brought to my parents and family.

Dear Helen and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Roman. Roman was personable, colorful, and a friend to all that knew him. He was a classmate of mine from Crane Tech H.S.(Class of '45). A
time well remembered.
May the Lord, now lead Roman into eternal life. As he enters the banquet of happiness.
Sorry, I missed the funeral service.

My deepest sympathy to the Ciesla family. Roman and I worked together for several years at the Libertyville Public Works Dept. He had an appreciation for life and faith more than anyone I've ever met and encouraged others to do the same. I'll always remember his cheerful "good morning" at the start of the work day and his unstoppable work ethic. The material world has lost an inspirational human being but the spiritual world has been blessed with a new saint.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Take comfort in the words found at Psalms 90:10 knowing that Roman lived a long life.

Mrs. Ciesla and Family
Please accept our sympathy on the passing of Roman. Remember him well during his Fire Dept. days when he participated in the training drills with my father Edward Bacher. Roman would stop at our house across the street from the fire station on Milwaukee Ave. and he was a great guy. Elizabeth Bacher Rolla and brother Edward Bacher Jr.

Roman and his wife Helen have been our neighbors on Burdick Street for the past 15 years. He always talked to us about his devout belief in Jesus and continually found ways to commend our children, Maggie and Liza. He was a loving and encouraging friend and neighbor who our Family will always remember with love. Kaye and Tom Boling and Family
