Sharon A. Harrod Sharon A Harrod, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at St. Alexis Hospital. Sharon was born in Chicago on Sept. 25, 1940. Sharon loved her family, friends and to make other people happy. She will be remembered for her giving spirit and generosity. Sharon was the beloved mother of Christopher Harrod and Suzanne (Mark) Youngberg; dearest grandmother of Stefanie, Eric and Jamie Youngberg and Neil Harrod; treasured sister of Vickie (Tommy) Dixon; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Earl Fox and Audrey Arlene (nee McCoy) Taylor; brothers James Fox and Charles Fox; and sister, Norma (nee Fox) Golden. Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 E. Main Street (corner of Routes 64 and 25). Interment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
