Sophie H. Truszkowski Sophie H. Truszkowski (nee Siudyla), 81, was the beloved wife of the late Edmund; devoted mother of Dan (Kathy), Carol (Steve) Ptasinski, Lyn Moya, Jan Truszkowski, and the late Robert and Thomas Truszkowski; loving daughter of the late Henryk and Jadwiga Siudyla; dear grandmother of Thomas and Jennifer Ptasinski; and dear aunt of many. The funeral will begin Saturday, 8:30 a.m. from Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle, proceeding to St. Monica Church, Chicago, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. For information, 630-889-1700.
