Obituary Condolences

Stanley Gorski Stanley Gorski, 96, died on Oct. 3, 2012. He was born on May 2, 1916, in Wakefield, Mich., the son of Charles and Mary Gorski. During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps until 1945, when he married Josephine Gorski (nee Witecha), making his home in Chicago. He is survived by his children, Laura (Lynn) Couch, Valerie, Richard, and Joene (Bob) Caraballo. He was the beloved Grampa to Joshua (Angela) Gorski, Ryan Caraballo and Richie Gorski. He was preceded in death by his wife. Stan was employed for 30 years at Proctor & Gamble in Chicago and retired in 1977. He was a resident of Mundelein until 1985, and then relocated to Adams, Wis. His lifelong interests were baseball, gardening and a love of the Northwoods. He will be most remembered for his generosity to family and friends. Stan was a humorous, intelligent and spirited individual, who will be greatly missed by his children, grandsons and extended family. Visitation will be Monday, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows, where services will be held Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville.
