Sylvia Vallesteros Sison Sylvia Vallesteros Sison, 61, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at her home. She was born Feb. 17, 1951, in Lingayen, Pangusinan, Philippines, and had lived in Mundelein for the past 30 years. She received her nursing degree in the Philippines and was employed for many years at Weiss Hospital in Chicago. Sylvia was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in Fremont Center. Surviving are her sister, Lizza (Pio) Escoto of Mundelein; and seven others brothers and sisters living around the world, Pru, Gil, Belen, Dindo, Fe, Sonia and Bong. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Road, Mundelein. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville, and for one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
