1970 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
LINDENHURST - T. Brendan Shea, 43, a resident of Lindenhurst for the past 12 years, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center in Glenview. He was born Aug. 4, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pa. while his father was in the Navy and lived in Japan, Washington, California and Great Lakes. He attended Holy Family School in North Chicago, playing basketball and soccer and started caddying at Shore Acres County Club. Brendan graduated from Carmel High School in 1988 and as an Evans Scholar, graduated from Northwestern University in 1992. He served as Caddy Master at Shore Acres and later received his Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. He was the owner of Shea Physical Therapy in Buffalo Grove, member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Lindenhurst and a fellow with the Gray Institute for Physical Therapy. Surviving are his wife of fourteen years, Jori (Seymour) Shea and children, Colin and Reilly Shea, all of Lindenhurst; his parents, Terry and Molly Shea of Englewood, CO; sister, Megan (Gary) Werner and their children, Aidan, Flannery and Moira Kate; brother, Patrick (Christine) Shea and their children Anna and Emily and his brother, Kieran Shea; Father and Mother-in-law, Gene and Norma Seymour of Libertyville; Sister-in-law, Jill (Bill) Bartlett and Brother-in-law, Jay (Laura) Seymour. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wed. July 2 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home Ltd., 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1822 E. Grand Ave. Lindenhurst, IL 60046. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville.
