Obituary Condolences

William J. Ulrich Services for William J. Ulrich, 80, of Plainfield for 12 years, formerly of Elk Grove Village for 40 years, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1045 S. Arlington Heights Road, where he will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be in Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village. Born in Chicago, he died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Joliet Area Community Hospice House. Mr. Ulrich was employed as a graphics arts salesman by I.C. Compound Co. of Gardena, Calif., for 36 years. From 1975 to 1996, he was the former owner of four Insty Prints, two in Elk Grove Village, one in Des Plaines, and one in Chicago. He was a member of the Masonic Order for 59 years, most recently at Union Park Lodge #610 of Chicago. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. William was the beloved husband of Gladys M. (nee Pikal), for 55 years; loving father of Valerie L. (Lee) Roesti, Mark R. (Gloria) Ulrich and Laura A. (Douglas) Anderson; cherished grandfather of Andrea Ulrich, and John and Justin Anderson; dear brother of Robert (Frances) Ulrich, and the late Margaret Kroeger. Please omit flowers.
