Obituary Condolences

Ralph W. Roesner of Barrington A private graveside service for Ralph W. Roesner, 91, will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Born February 24, 1919, in Palatine, he peacefully passed away Monday, July 26, 2010, at Wauconda Healthcare. Ralph served as an Army Staff Sergeant during World War II, earning a Bronze Star. He went on to become an electrician, working at Kemper Insurance in Long Grove until his retirement. Ralph served as a Village of Barrington volunteer fireman for 25 years and was a dedicated and longtime employee of Evergreen Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Joan (nee Kampert); children, Bill (Jill) Roesner of Bartlett and Peggy Roesner of Woodstock; and grandsons, Wade and Chase Roesner. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian (nee Luerssen) Roesner; stepmother, Florence Langhoff; and siblings, Wilbert and Russell (Mary) Roesner and Arlene Garrison. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ralph's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
