Obituary Condolences

George A. Eggert Jr. of Mount Prospect A Mass for George A. Eggert Jr., 61, will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, at Maryville Academy chapel, 1150 N. River Road, Des Plaines, with the Rev. John Smyth officiating. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines. Born Nov. 7, 1943, in Chicago, he died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at home. For 18 years Mr. Eggert was co-owner/operator of Kathryn's Banquets in Mount Prospect. As a teenager he worked for his father's restaurant, Heuer in Rosemont. He was the husband of Janet L. (nee Boyd); father of Mark J. (Dina) Eggert of Huntley and the late Shannon Eggert; grandfather of Callie, Ethan and Kennedy; son of George Sr. and Juanita Eggert of Des Plaines; brother of Dolly (Pat) Readey of Des Plaines, Gregory (Shirley) Eggert of Northbrook, Geannine (Joe) Lynch of Burr Ridge, Mary (Roman) Korab of Arlington Heights and Laura (Dave) Schnier of Clinton, Iowa; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
