Obituary Condolences

Edward J. Caraher Edward J. Caraher, 47, retired Deputy Fire Chief of Hillside Fire Department for 25 years, passed away suddenly. He was the beloved husband of Danielle (nee Krueger); cherished father of James and Autumn; loving brother of Mary (Thomas) Waskiewicz, Colleen (Michael) Braun, Peggy (Ken Zabor) Rosengren, Lori (Roy) Hanson, and the late James; beloved son of the late James and Dorothy (nee McKevitt); and special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Road (one block west of Route 83), Oakbrook Terrace, where a chapel service will be held on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
