IRENE KANTOR Obituary

Irene Kantor of Mount Prospect Visitation for Irene Kantor (nee Huszar), 94, will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Born June 19, 1917, in Bethlehem, Pa., she died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, in Park Ridge. Irene was an avid world traveler to over 100 countries. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F.; loving mother of Paulette (Joseph) Onorato and Pamela Loza (Randy Mikos); beloved grandmother of Joseph (Miranda Ip), Christina Onorato and Elizabeth (Joel) Begleiter; and great-grandmother of Emi Onorato. Special thanks to her caregiver, Ursula. Memorials to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 Bishop Ct., Mount Prospect, IL 60056 appreciated. For information, call 847-394-2336.
