Obituary Condolences

Paul J. Bodine Jr. The visitation for Paul J. Bodine Jr., 80, will be from 12 noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park. Luncheon will follow the service. Mr. Bodine passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005. He was Chairman of the Board of Bodine Electric Company, celebrating 100 years of family business, where he spent 50+ years of service. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1946, and was recalled to serve in Korea during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1952, obtaining the rank of Electrician's Mate, 1st Class. Mr. Bodine was a graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in electrical engineering. He was the past secretary of the Classic Car Club of America, and an avid collector of classic cars. He was a longtime summer resident of Lake Geneva. He was the beloved husband of Nancy; loving father of Jeffrey (Kathleen), Cheryl (Ted) Kuczek and Timothy Baillie; dear grandfather of Bridget, Dusty and Kaylyn Bodine, Jeremy (Desiree) Linneman, Theo, Christine and Melanie Kuczek, and Nicholas Baillie; and great-grandfather of Seth and Paige Linneman.
