To Jane and family,
I have wonderful, fond memories of Wendell from the days of his working as Director of Special Ed. in District 15 - convincing me that I could do things I didn't think I could and supporting me and also making me laugh. He was truly a special man. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless you all.

Wendell had the ultimate reason to participate in the political process. He wanted to serve and bring integrity into play every step along the way. Palatine and the state of Illinois have been made better because he served them well.

He will be missed, but his mark will remain indelible on our future.

Wendell was a true gentleman and loving family man. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

I served as the Village of Palatine's Financial Advisor the entire time Wendell was on the Board and when he was President. He was a class act for a classy Village.
