Michael J. Calame of Huntley Michael J. Calame, 45, died suddenly Sunday, March 18, 2012. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials, may be directed to his daughter Samantha's education fund. Mike was born April 7, 1966, the son of Ron Calame and Sharon Wallace. Mike had owned and operated his own construction business for many years. He was a simple guy who enjoyed life. His greatest treasure was his wife and his children. He is survived by his wife, Theresa of Huntley; his daughter, Samantha of Huntley, and stepsons, Zollie Hawkins of Rockford and Jason Pearce of Oregon, Ill.; his father, Ron Calame; and his mother, Sharon Wallace.
