ANNE M. GEBKA Obituary
Anne M. Gebka of Inverness Anne M. Gebka was born on July 16, 1933, in Chicago, to Howard and Virginia (nee Snyder) Parker. She passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Pepper Family Hospice Home and Center For Care in Barrington. Anne "Moms" is survived by her children, Peggy (Jim) Critchfield, Ginger Gebka, Heidi Pleune, Robin (Lami) Mechmet, Richard Gebka and Randall (Carole) Gebka; grandchildren, Jimmy, Kelly, Lauren, Jamie, Alyssa, Andy, Kyle, Bryan, Amy, Brett, Rachel and Stephanie; a sister, Emily (the late Eugene) Mazurek; brother, Dave (Pat) Parker; sister-in-law, Joan Parker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gebka; and her brothers, Howard and Rudy Parker. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, at St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect. Interment will be private in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to National PKU Alliance, P.O. Box 501, Tomahawk, WI 54487 or to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010-3141.
