Peter A. Sesterhenn Peter A. Sesterhenn, 51, beloved husband of Nora (nee Eiserman) Sesterhenn, and loving father of Katherine, Zach and Hayley, passed away after a courageous 14-month battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at home, surrounded by his wife and children. Peter was born in Libertyville on April 2, 1961, to Cletus and Marie Sesterhenn. Peter was a graduate of Libertyville High School, the University of Illinois and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. At the time of his death, he was employed as the CFO of Consumer Lending for HSBC in Mettawa, Ill. Peter was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville, where he served along with his wife, as a 4th grade religious education teacher for the past eight years. He was also a member of Christ Renews His Parish. Peter's greatest joy in life was his family and he found much happiness in attending his children's music concerts, dance performances, soccer, basketball and volleyball games, and family vacations throughout the years. He will be remembered as a man of great integrity, loyalty and honesty. In addition to his wife, children and parents, Peter is survived by his sister, Susan (Bruce) Labno; brothers, Steven (Barb) and Donald (Cindy) Sesterhenn; his mother-in-law, Catherine Eiserman; and sisters-in-law, Marcy Eiserman and Diane DeLuca; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville. The funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple St., Libertyville. Interment services will be private.
