Lester L. Edmark formerly of Mundelein Visitation for Lester L. Edmark, 81, of Park City, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (two blocks west of Route 45 on Route 176), Mundelein, with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. He was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Marinesco, MI, and passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Winchester House in Libertyville. Lester served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Afterwards, he worked for several printing companies in Wisconsin, California and Illinois until his retirement. Les was a member of the Gurnee American Legion, he enjoyed playing cards, golf, playing pool, bowling and throwing horseshoes. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. Lester was an active member of Most Blessed Trinity Church in Waukegan. Lester is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Janet (nee Pias); his children, Brian (Sue) Edmark, Todd (Carole) Edmark, Doreen DeMarco, Gail (Tom) Snapp and Kurt (Sue) Edmark; his beloved grandchildren, Aaron (Ashley) Edmark, Andrew Edmark, Erika Edmark, Kimberleigh Edmark, Kara Edmark, Ryan (Shara) DeMarco, Cassie DeMarco, Eric Snapp, Kendra Snapp, Dani Snapp, Alicia Donegan, Kyle Donegan and David Edmark; and loving brother, Richard Edmark and sisters, Darlene Nurmi and Adeline Nurmikko. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernie and Rose (nee LaPalme) Edmark; and his brothers, Fernie, Edwin and Edgar. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the , Chicago Chapter, 55 E.
