Obituary Condolences

Charles D. "Chuck" Follman of Hampshire Charles D. "Chuck" Follman, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in his home. He was born January 20, 1939 in Elgin the son of Henry and Theresa (Seyller) Follman.He was a 1957 graduate of Barrington High School. Chuck married Jacqueline Wessel on January 1, 1977 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pingree Grove. Chuck was a Truck Driver for 35 years, retiring from Burren's Transfer in Elgin. Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline; children, Jon (Monika) Follman, Julie (Dean ) Paschen, Robert (Lisa) Follman, Susan (Dan) Bailey, Patsy (Todd) Sterns, Lawrence (Josefina) Follman, Michael (Jessica) Follman and Jennifer (Solomon) Dorn; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret (Glenn) McDonald, Lois Dosey, Joyce (Charles) Potter, Lowell Follman; and a sister in law, Carolyn Follman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Travis; brothers, Wayne and Wilfred Follman and two sisters in infancy, Carolyn and Theresa. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 14N205 Reinking Rd., Pingree Grove with Pastor John Greve officiating. Burial will be in the Hampshire Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 4 at the Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire and will continue on Wednesday, June 5 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
