We are saddened by the news of Kevin's passing. He was like a brother to me when I started working at Ameritech Capital. We were like two pea's in a pod. He taught me a lot about leasing and we even shared an office together when we moved here 18 years ago. It just doesn't seem possible and it certainly is not fair that my good friend is gone. Celeste, Nichole and Ryan our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Kevin you will be missed my friend. With love and respect.

I am saddened by this loss for his family and the community. Kevin, you touched my life and many others as well. May you rest in peace.

While it was under unfortunate circumstances that I first met Kevin Collins (we were both unemployed and regular "clients" at the Barrington Career Center), I was most fortunate to meet such an unselfish and thoughtful person.
He was a dear friend of mine from the BCC (Career Place). We were also both leaders for Uncork Barrington too.
Kevin was a true inspiration and "nice guy" all around ~ always willing to help anyone and make time for everyone!
While I never had the pleasure of meeting his two kids, I know that Nicole and Ryan were the light of his life as he so often spoke of them.
Kevin will be sorely missed :(
May he rest in peace...

I got to know Kevin quite well at the Barrington Career Center as he sought new job assignments. He was a positive influence on other job seekers and reached out to help them in improving their interviewing skills. He exemplified a "Can Do!" spirit and attitude in every undertaking and was so proud of his childrens' exploits on the athletic fields. In my 15 years of being involved with the Career Center, Kevin stands out in my memory as one of the best people I ever met. God bless him and his family.

Kevin and I were way more than just friends, we always considered ourselves brothers. Kevin and I were best of friends since third grade and remained close throughout our lives. He was a great person, came from a great, close family and was in the process of continuing the great family line being the father of two great children. Kevin's positive legacy will never be forgotten. My heart and prayers go out to Kevin and everyone who knew him because he made an impact on all of our lives.

From his basketball friends in Hawthorn Club – Kevin will be missed! His engaging personality, the confidence and competitiveness in which he carried himself lifted everybody that he played with. It was after the games when we would gather that his infectious smile and caring nature truly came out.

Bob,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Kevin.
Growing up as friends in Fairview Park gave us the pleasure of sharing our families with each other.

I will be thinking of you during this time.
