I have just obtained a Bible that was received as a Loving Remembrance to Donald L. Coulson. It was presented by the VFW.POST 2245. I came across it in a thrift store in Aurora. I just had to look him up. It seems he was a remarkable man.

My condolences to the Coulson family. I knew Don and Arlene over the past 15 years or so. I learned a lot from Don over those years and will miss him. Thank you Mr . Coulson.

Mr Coulson was my neighbor when I was growing up. I haven't seen him for many years, but he was very influential in my youth. He was one of the reasons I joined Boy Scouts back in the 70s. Rest in Peace Mr Coulson.

Don was such an active part of our Grayslake community. I remember him and Arleen signing my grandkids up for the Pet Parade. The last 2 years he worked very hard with me and the Friends of the Grayslake Library while taking care of Arleen. He was so proud of making such a strong comeback after his serious health problems. Nothing seemed to get him down. I have missed him since they moved. Now I will miss him and think of him fondly. My condolences to Don's family. He was quite a guy, who so loved his wife, family and community. Cathy deGroh
