Dave was a classy guy even in high school. With all the competition to be Number 1, he never let it interfere with being a good, friendly guy, not easy to do. He ended up Number 1, the old fashioned way, he earned it!
We have heard from attorneys that Dave was more than a genius; he was a gentle and caring genius. Again not easy to do.
He was a real Mendel Monarch.

Bestest Buddy Dave, I miss you already. Your dry humor and wit always made me laugh. I most admire the way you seemed to approach life's many obstacles and turns....just do what you can and don't worry about the rest. I am grateful to have gotten the chance to work with you. You're a special guy.
