WILBUR SCHULTZ Obituary

LIBERTYVILLE - Wilbur E. Schultz, 84, passed away May 4, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He was born in Chicago and had been a Libertyville resident and member of St. Joseph Parish since 1968. Wilbur was an Electrotyper printer for Cuneo Press, printing such magazines as LOOK, LIFE and EBONY. He had been a working superintendent for STANCO Manufacturing and Brown Paper Goods. Later in life he formed the K&S Maintenance Co which he owned and operated. Wilbur was a 65 year member of the Des Plaines Elks Club where he was named Elk of the Year, was an avid bowler and had coached Libertyville Little League for 5 years. He is survived by his wife Dolores (nee Brenny) of 60 years of marriage; his daughter Susan (the late Kevin) Gleason; his son Greg (Laura) Schultz; his grandchildren Erin and Keri Gleason; Caleb, Monica, Danielle, Dominic and David Schultz; and his sister Carol Walters. He was preceded in death by his brother Don (Claire) Schultz. Funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple Ave, Libertyville. Interment Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Monday, May 8 from 4 - 8 p.m. at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Respiratory Health Association - www.lungchicago.org/schultzmemorial would be greatly appreciated. Funeral info, 847-362-2626.
