Berthil W. "Bert" Ivarson of Rolling Meadows Funeral services for Mr. Berthil W. "Bert" Ivarson, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows. Born June 20, 1923, in Maywood, he died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Rosewood of Inverness Health Care Center. Interment will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Hillside. Mr. Ivarson was a banker for more than 42 years for the American National Bank in Chicago, retiring as 2nd vice president. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy. Bert was the husband of Betty (nee Deithorn); father of Berthil W. Jr. (Debra), Corey (Bonnie) and Thomas R. (Michele); grandfather of Eric, James, Billy, Wayne, Anna and Joseph; and brother of the late Walter, Tora Kimball and Edith DeGraff. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
