Obituary Condolences

Richard J. Fry Memorial visitation for Richard J. Fry, 62, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Chicago, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, with a memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Geils Funeral Home, 260 W. Irving Park Road, Wood Dale. Born Aug. 23, 1944, in Chicago, the son of the late Jack D. and Olga H. Fry, he passed away Friday, May 4, 2007, in Greensburg, Kan. Richard was an Army veteran who recently retired from Rocky Mountain Business Systems in Albuquerque. He was a lover of nature and animals, and he spent much of his free time camping in the mountains near his Albuquerque home. He recently began a freelance business selling original artwork, photography and poetry to local artisan shops. An avid traveler, he made frequent visits to his family in the Chicago area. Richard's kind heart, free spirit and humorous inquisitive nature will be deeply missed by his family in Chicago and by many dear friends in Albuquerque. RIchard was the father of Elisabeth; loving brother of the late James (Diane); beloved uncle of James (Joyce), Jeffrey (Jacki) and Debra (Rick); cherished great-uncle of Alexandra; and dear nephew and cousin to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his name to the American Red Cross, Tornado Relief in Kansas, 2200 W. Harrison, Chicago, IL 60612 are appreciated.
