Funeral service for Roger Fowler, 67, will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. Michael Trull officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mr. Fowler died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tommy Devin Byrd, parents H. K. and Irene Fowler. He worked as a Service Technician at Automatic Gas for 43 years. Mr. Fowler was a 1964 graduate of Weogufka High School. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Suzanne Fowler of Weogufka; daughters, Rhonda Byrd, husband Tommy of Sylacauga and Rachel Embry, husband Bill of Mt. Moriah, AL; son, Jay Anderson, wife Kerri of Childersburg; brother, Wendell Fowler of Weogufka; sister, Sherry Mooney of Weogufka; granddaughter, Cherilyn McCook; great-grandchildren, Alisa McCook and Michael McCook Jr. Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lee Culver, Lemuel Burell, Mitch Douglas, Colt Fincher, Michael McCook and Cameron Burell. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.

Graduated from high school with Roger, really enjoyed knowing him, he was a great guy and will be missed very much. God Bless the family he leaves behind.
