PELL CITY- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jordan Threatt, 79, will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 1 pm at Greater New Destiny Christian Center, Bishop Maurice Keller will officiate. Burial in Greenfield Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before services. She died Friday at Golden Living Healthcare Center. A native and lifelong resident of St. Clair County, member of Greenfield C.M.E. Church, serving as church secretary, president of Usher Board, President of Missionary Society, retired from Amerex Corp. Survivors are children, Sherrion (Milton) Fomby, Lincoln; Rickey (Joan) Threatt, Gwendolyn Threatt, Alfred (Jeana) Threatt, Bonderia Young all of Pell City; Audrey Threatt Springdale, Maryland; Venny (Alesia) Threatt, Pell City; sisters, Rena Jean Brewer, Peggy Lois Pryor, Rosie Lee Truss, Sara Bell Walker; brother, Howard "Doc" Jordan, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gladys Threatt, Rebecca Threatt, Margaret Threatt; daughter-in-law, Charlene Threatt; host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Andrew Young, Warren Threatt, Demarcus Fomby, Cordero Threatt, Warren Threatt, Demarcus O'Neal, Kirakies Shepard, Yancy Davis. Sims Funeral Service will direct.

To be absent in the body is to present with Lord, Ms. Gwen and family remember the good times and reflect on those times as you continue to grieve of you Mother. Mother is in heaven now, smiling and protecting you all, stay connected and love on your family, but most of Trust God to see you through this difficult time. Love ya Ms. Gwen
