Adair, Mary Anna - Lincoln  
Mary Anna Adair, 78, of Lincoln passed away July 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Blue Eye Baptist Church in Lincoln. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am to service time. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery with Rev. Jacky Morgan officiating. Mrs. Adair was a lifelong resident of Lincoln. She was retired from Alabama Industries for the Blind. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warnie and Elvie Burgess; sister, Faye Howard. She is survived by her husband, Henry B. Adair, Jr., nephew, Barry McBurnett (Tammy), great-nieces and nephews, Hannah, Emily and Ethan McBurnett. Adams, Steve Lawrence - Talladega  
Funeral services for Steve Lawrence Adams, 52, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny McKinney will officiate. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Adams will lie in state at the church on hour prior to the service. Baker, Oliver Willard - Childersburg  
Mr. Oliver Willard Baker age 87 of Childersburg, Al passed away on July 21, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be on Saturday July 23, 2016 at 12 Noon at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday July 23, 2016 at the Childersburg Chapel from 10-12PM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Dr. Skip Parvin and Rev. Bill Ramsey will be officiating the service. Survivors are Son: Tim (Wendy) Baker of Gardendale. Daughter: Sheree (Bill) Ramsey of Canton, Ga. Grandchildren: Tyler and Landin Baker, Carson, Harrison and Bella Grace Ramsey. Barksdale, John Franklin - Marietta  
John Franklin Barksdale, 80, passed away on Tuesday, July 19 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. John was born in Ocala, Florida, December 20, 1935 to Virgil Leondrus Barksdale and Elizabeth Smith Barksdale. He graduated from Ocala High School. He attended South Georgia College on a football scholarship and later attended Georgia State University. He proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Air Force, serving for four years. He worked for General Motors in Atlanta prior to settling down in Talladega, AL where he was a longtime resident. He retired and moved to Marietta, Georgia, after meeting and marrying his wife, Joanne Harding Barksdale. In Talladega he made his career as a new car dealer at Cooley Motor Company. He served on the Talladega Airport Board for 24 years. He was president of the Talladega Kiwanis Club and Talladega Junior Chamber of Commerce. In Marietta, John was a member of First Baptist Church Roswell where he and Joanne were very involved in their Sunday School class and he also served as President, Vice President, and Treasurer of the class over the years. John was a devoted Alabama fan. At a restaurant, he would give "Roll Tide" as his name and would enjoy hearing them shout it out when his order was ready. Proceeded in death by his parents, a brother, Virgil Hulon Barksdale, and his sister, Margaret Barksdale Banks. John and Joanne brought together two families and is survived by his wife, Joanne, daughter, Tracy (Mark) Rheudasil of Atlanta; his sons John Thomas (Melanie) Barksdale of Madison, AL.; and Brian Barksdale (Janie Molliston) of Birmingham, AL ; daughters, Susan (John) Falls of Huntsville, AL; Laura Kehr of Kennesaw, GA; Becky (Scott) Egan of Alpharetta, GA; and Holly (Grant) Hudson of Acworth, GA. Together they have nine grandchildren, Tyler Barksdale, Tanner Barksdale, Maggie Rheudasil, Jennifer Falls, Dylan Kehr, Ethan Kehr, Sabrina Kehr, Camilla Brock and Macy Brock. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at First Baptist Church Roswell at 3 o'clock. Family will welcome visitors 1:00-3:00 prior to service. Burial will be Friday morning at 9:30 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Barnett, Nellie Mildred - Childersburg  
Funeral service for Nellie Mildred Barnett, 83, will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Clarence Denny officiating. Burial will be in Kahatchee Cemetery in Childersburg, AL. Mrs. Barnett died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Barnett, daughter, Donna E. Lois Barnett, parents, J C and Martha Louise Vick, 4 sisters, Lena Mae Peoples, Elizabeth Ann Webber, Martha Faye Parker, and Francis Barnett, 2 brothers, John Calvin Vick, and James H Vick. She was a member of Mt. Sharon Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett worked at Beaunit for 15 years and Avondale for 15 years. She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Pugh husband Jesse of Kahatchee; three granddaughters, Tracey Frost husband Richard, Deena York both of Kahatchee, Anita Simpson husband Jason of Sylacauga and 5 great-grandchildren. Brownlow, William Terry - Talladega  
A memorial service for William Terry Brownlow, 66, will be today at 1 p.m. at Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Denham officiating. Mr. Brownlow died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at his residence. He was a technician at the Anniston Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Mary W. Brownlow. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brownlow of Talladega; two daughters, Tammy (Billy) Phillips of Talladega, Lori (John) Denham of Cerulean, KY; six sons, Gary Ward and Kevin Ward both of Talladega, Tracy Hunter of Brewton, Lamar Epperson of Sycamore, Jeff Epperson of Sylacauga, Ricky Epperson of Sycamore; two sisters, Janet White of Anniston, and Peggy Brownlow of Fairburn, GA; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home will direct the service.

Mr. John William "J-Rock" Bryan, 32, of Gulf Shores, Alabama passed away on July 15, 2016 in Fairhope. Bryant, Tammy Ann - Sylacauga  
Mrs. Tammy Ann Bryant, age 50 of Sylacauga, passed away after a brave battle with leukemia on July 14, 2016 in Blue Ridge, GA. Funeral service was held Monday, July 18 at 12:00 PM with Rev.
