Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Louise Warner, 79, of Montgomery, will be Friday, May 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Sister Peggie Ott will officiate. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Coosa County. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Mrs. Warner passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center South. She was born on August 6, 1933 in Coosa County, Alabama to S. C. Thomas and Alma Turney Thomas. She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, with 37 years employment at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. She was also a cancer survivor from breast cancer
and kidney cancer. She was a member of Rigby Street Baptist Church. Before her health declined she enjoyed playing bingo, especially at the Shriners Bingo, reading and working crossword puzzles, embroidery, growing roses and drinking coffee. She also loved music, especially the group "Alabama" and Gospel music with Vestal Goodman being a favorite. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Warner Denney of Rockford; grandchildren, Joey Warner, Jr (Olivia) caregivers in the last year, Gordon Sessions (Amanda) and Monica Warner, all of Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Callan Patricia Hayes and Bailey Madison Warner, both of Montgomery; sister, Nellie Peak of Brent; brother, Charles Floyd Thomas (Mary Love) of Huntsville; brother-in-law, Michael Davis of Sylacauga; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved son, Joe Warner, Sr; son-in-law, George Kenneth Denney; brothers, Gordon Thomas and Vesta Vernon Thomas; sisters, Ruby Thomas Berry and Shirley Faye Thomas Davis; two baby brothers; and brother-in-law, Glen Peak, Sr. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to the
