Brenda Easterwood

Funeral service for Brenda Parton Easterwood, 66, will be Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2 pm at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home, with Cliff Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Stockdale Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Easterwood passed away July 24, 2013. She is preceded in death by father, John V. Parton, Sr., sister, Ruby Hurst, and 1st husband, Edward Gaither. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Stockdale Baptist Church, and a former employee of Wehadkee Yarn Mills. She is survived by mother, Edith parton; husband, James "Doodle" Easterwood; son, Dewayne Chandler (Margaret); granddaughters, Ashleigh Chandler & Hannah Chandler; stepdaughter, Cassie Chandler (Jomari); stepdaughter, Angela Rainey (Rickey); stepson, Russ Morrow (Rachel), step-grandchildren, Rick Rainey (Christina), Justin Rainey, Ashley Hill (Bradley), & Jaylin Morrow; brother, John Vinson Parton (Julia); brother in law, Larry Hurst; host of nieces & nephews. Pallbearers will be Larry Hurst, Jeff Hall, Rickey Rainey, Sr., Rick Rainey, Jr., Jomari Stamps, and Mark Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Bishop, Jason Bishop, Charles Crim, Mike Crim, Robert Hallman, and Jerry Hallman. Special thanks to Shirley, Kristie, & April of Hope Hospice.
