TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Howard Nelson Williams, Sr., 81, of Talladega will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Glen Horn and Rev. Gary Wyatt will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Thursday from 10-11 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mr. Williams passed away April 1, 2013 at Regional Medical Center. Howard was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, and a former co-owner of Michael's Supply Company in Sylacauga for more than 40 years. He was a member of Bemiston United Methodist Church and attended Immanuel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Smith Williams and grandson, Joey Williams. He is survived by his children, Darlene W. Payne, Angie D. Wiliams, Sandra Jacobs and Howard "Rip" Williams; brother, Bo Williams; sisters, Josie Williams, Lula Mae Taylor, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cody Hurst, Buddy Dean, Trae Williams, Daton Presley, Trent Jacobs and Shanon Payne. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lunch Crew at Mabra Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Team Emma at First National Bank of Talladega at P.O. Box 797, Talladega, AL 35161.
