TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Marvin Austin Williams, 69, will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 11 a.m. at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Huffaker and Rev. Randy Howell officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Williams died October 1, 2012 in Birmingham. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a member and deacon Emeritus of New Hope Baptist Church, (formerly Grace Memorial Baptist Church). He was a member of Masonic Lodge 261 and former Shriner, retired from Kimberly Clark and former employee of Talladega County Road Dept. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lottie Williams and sister, Joyce Mathews. He is survived by his wife, Drucilla Hill Williams; daughter, Regina D. Williams; grandson, Joseph Roy Austin Williams; sister, Pat Horn (Glen); nephews, Gril Mathews and Marty Horn; nieces, Donna Mathews, Chrisy Wilson, Christy Hill and Katie McCracken; great-nephews, Kevin Horn, Mitchell and Emmett McCracken. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pallbearers will be members of Masonic Lodge 261 Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jimmy Davis, Blake Harris, Lindy Hill, Billy George, Vern Dafford, David Shellnut and Bill Thompson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 950 Stephen J. White Blvd., Talladega, AL 35160. Condolences may be made at Usrey Funeral Home, Talladega will direct the services.
