James Ray Taylor

Funeral service for James Ray Taylor, age 85, of Birmingham will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11AM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Jamey Pangman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the funeral home. Mr. Taylor passed away December 13, 2018 at Cahaba Ridge Retirement Home. He was preceded in death by his father and mother: Berney and Vera Taylor. He was retired from Kimberly-Clark, was a Mason and a huge Auburn Football fan. He was a member of the Kymulga Historic Society and served as a volunteer firefighter. He is survived by his wife: Bobbie Nell Taylor, daughters: Terry Kirklin (Jim), Diane James (John), Wanda Hughes, grandchildren: Brad Vernon, Stan Cain, Kristen Scroggins (Aaron), Taylor Orellana (Javier), Johnson Hughes, great grandchildren: Emmie James Scroggins, Lizzie Scroggins, sister-in-law: Ann Davis, brother-in-laws: Jerry Cleckler (Linda), Bill Barnett.
