Larry W. Green

Funeral service for Larry W. Green, 67, will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Unity Presbyterian Cemetery in Weogufka, AL. Mr. Green died Thursday, November 12 2015 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Grange Green; mother, Virgie Mae Green Scroggins; step-father, James Louis Scroggins. He was a great person, always made people smile. He never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. The family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Delores Green; step-son, John Mark Nelson, wife Lesle; daughter, Tracie Webber, husband David; step-daughters, Darlene Nelson, Renee Stuart, husband Ray and Casey Collins; brothers, Jimmy Green, wife Sandy and Bob Green, wife Carolyn; sisters, Pat Gaither and Janice Machen; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
