Funeral service for William Judson "Dub" Byars, 91, will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial in Pope's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Byars passed away December 29, 2012. Mr. Byars was a WWII Veteran where he received two Purple Hearts. He is survived by wife, Carolyn Byars; sons, Larry Gene Byars, Jay C. Byars (Judy), Phillip J. Byars (Bonnie), William C. Byars; honorary son, Clifford Daffron; daughter, Pamela Lively (Donald); brother, James Byars; sister, Myra Mize; 16 grandchildren, Sheryl, Tyler, William, Buddy, Tina, Michael, Mitchell, Bret, Bridget, Tommy, Christopher, Robin, Jennifer, Chrissy, Morgan, Jesse; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 6-9 pm at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at ww.kilgroefh.com Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City, will direct the service.
