Flossie Davis Obituary
Davis died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Golden Living Nursing Home in Pell City.
Flossie was a Christian who served her Lord through different ministries at Calvary Baptist Church. She worked in retail for 12 years and in the medical field for 18 years.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Green (Freddie) of Talladega, Charlotte Sumners (Glenn) of Baton Rouge, La., Sandra Fuller (Russell) of Alabama and Paulette Vick (Rickey) of Talladega; brothers, LeRoy Shaw, Calvin Shaw, A.D. Shaw and Raymond Shaw all of Alabama; sisters, Ruby Melton and Louise Rice both of Alabama; grandchildren, Scarlett Snider (Earl) of Alabama, Angela Slamone (Joey) of Tennessee, Melanie Hall (Mark) of Georgia, Lance Baker (Jennifer) of Alabama, Laura Sumners of Louisiana, Jodee Vick (Liz) of Alabama, Josh Baker (Beka) of Tennessee, Jay Vick of Alabama and Eric Fuller of Alabama; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jodee Vick, Jay Vick, Josh Baker, Lance Baker, Eric Fuller, Earl Snider, Mark Hall and Joey Salamone.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the funeral services.

I delivered meals to Mrs. Flossie several years ago. I thought she was just the sweetest petite thing! She reminded me so much of my own grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with the family & friends. I know she is resting well now in the Lord's arm's. Love ya Mrs. Flossie.

Patsy, Freddie and family---so sorry to hear of death of Mrs. Flossie. I remember seeing in Montgomery from time to time...at Shocco, etc..and it was always a joy to see her. Blessings as you adjust to her being gone physically...she will always be with you in so many other way....God bless...Wayne and Kay
