SYLACAUGA - Mr. Jack Adair, age 84, of Sylacauga, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was retired from Alabama Marble Quarry, where he served as supervisor. He was a native of Sylacauga and served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Adair is survived by his wife, Evelyn Adair of Sylacauga; a son, Stephen W. Adair (Diane) of Lanett; a stepson, Scott Sanders (Shirley) of Lantana, Fla.; a daughter, Kris A. Moore (Barry) of Fort Payne; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the North Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Todd Reaves officiating.
