PELL CITY- Rev. Carl M. Howard Sr., S/MSSGT Retired. age 88 of Pell City, died Saturday, April, 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by; his 1st wife, Rev. Jean Stewart Howard; daughter, Jacquline Elaine Fowler; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Rev. Howard is survived by his wife, Frances Kirkland Howard; daughters; Dianna Hoover (Steve) and Sheila Poer (Dan); son, Carl M. Howard Jr. (Carol); sister, Frances Layfield; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; step daughter; Lydia Kirkland and step son; David Kirkland. Rev. Howard and his first wife served in the ministry for over 40 years. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Moody United Methodist Church with burial at Moody Cemetery.
