VINCENT - Funeral service for Robert Earl Allred, 46, will be Thursday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Bland and the Rev. William Rayfield officiating. Burial will be in Harpersville Cemetery. Mr. Allred died Sept. 1, 2009 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by father and mother, Edgar and Mamie Allred; brothers, Cordie Allred and Paul Allred. Robert was an iron worker for many years. After becoming disabled, he became a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is a true believer in Christ. He is also a multi-publisher poetry author. Survivors are his wife, Rebecca S. Allred of Vincent; son, Dustin Earl Allred of Vincent; daughter, Brittne Lynn Puckett of Vincent; two grandchildren, Abcde Leigh Allred and Aven Glenn Puckett; four brothers, Herbert Allred (Mary Ann) of Harpersville, Ottis Allred (Levee) of Childersburg, Wayne Allred of Wilsonville, and Dennis Allred (Rita) of Harpersville; four sisters, Diane Malin (Lester) of Cullman, Kaye Robertson (Danny) of Childersburg, Tina Ingram (Phil) of Childersburg, and Sharon Allred of Montevallo; sister-in-law, Merritta Allred of Vincent.
