Graveside services for Ruth H. Gravette, 93, will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Marble City Cemetery. The Rev. Rodney Frost will officiate. She passed away October 23, 2013 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ralph K. Gravette. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Oldfield United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Linda K. Birchfield (Charles) of Chelsea, Karen Brewer (Rex) of Sylacauga, and Yvette Facey of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Terri Tucker (Paul), Kelly McDonald (Brad), Adam Brewer (Brooke), Jacob Brewer and Emily Brewer; great grandchildren, Charli Reaves, Jami Reaves, Kayti Reaves, Bailey McDonald, and Payton McDonald; sisters in law, Mary Edna Talbert and Sara Gravette; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, October 25 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Pallbearers will be Craig Gravette, Hugh Gravette, Bryan Gravette, John Walker, Michael Gravette, and David Gravette.
