Funeral services for Deborah Denson Edwards, 56, of Anniston, will be 12 pm Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hayes and Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 - 12 at the funeral home. Mrs. Edwards passed away on Saturday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include sons, Justin Edwards (Janee) and Colton Edwards, grandchildren, Taylor, Grace and Lilly Edwards, mother Lucy Denson, sisters, Laura Flynn (Bill) and Dr. Donna Lee, foster sister, Heidi Whiteside Spellman and adopted sister, Brenda Hunley, ex-husband, Joe DeWayne Edwards (Becky), several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Lewis Denson, brother, David Lewis Denson and sister, Luann Lawrence. Pallbearers will be Phill Brown, Colton Edwards, Dale Bates, Lonnie Coker, Chad Adams, Randy Hall, Mrs. Edwards was born on July 4, 1957. She was a graduate from Walter Wellborn High School and Alabama School of Nursing. Mrs. Edwards was the owner of Optical Depot in Anniston and Brenda's Eye Glass Place in Talladega.
