Funeral service for Bonnie Jean Jennings, 57, will be Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Duane Smith officiating. Mrs. Jennings died at her residence on Thursday, May 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, W.P. Morris. Mrs. Jennings worked for Avondale Mills and Russell Mills and, at the time of her illness, she worked for the U.S. Postal Service. She loved her family and friends very much, and her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Ruby. She is survived by her husband, Douglas (Duke) Jennings of Sylacauga; son, James Michael Stroud of Sylacauga; daughter, Jami Michelle Stroud of Sylacauga; mother, Ruby Morris of Sylacauga; brother, Billy Morris and wife, Jane, of Childersburg; sisters, Betty Weldon and husband, Ray, of Sylacauga; Beverly Darby and husband, Doyle, of Jemison; and Belinda Brown and husband, Todd, of Sylacauga; granddaughter, Ruby Leianne Burks of Sylacauga.
